Kids Camp 2006

The Wyoming State Quilt Guild sponsors a kids quilt camp every summer, in the region of the state where the state convention is to be held. In 2006 the Northwest Region is hosting the state convention, and the Kids camp was held in Greybull on June 22 and 23. Big Horn Quilts organized it.

Twelve enthusiastic girls ages 8-14 came together and made rail fence quilts with help from volunteers from the Loose Threads Quilt Guild. Volunteers were Ruth Moss, Shirlee Dahlberg, Betty Urwiller, Mary Provoncha, Chris Morency, Sharon Brown, Jan Parmenter, Jan Barnett, Kitty Burris and Julie Owens. Delicious snacks were brought by Cookie Lehnhoff, who wanted to help but got stuck working in the shop.
