Birgit says the pink and burgundy fabrics made the perfect tulips and the challenge green and one of her own made great leaves. The white blocks are the last snow of winter and the yellow border is a symbol for the warming spring sun.
This design was whipped up on EQ4 and features 16 double tulip blocks.
Birgit made her own butterfly stencil for the center and corners.
