Three Corn Patches

By Brenda Lopez of Auburn, California

Artist's Statement:
I selected an Elvis song I never heard of "Three Corn Patches" Some Elvis fabric was used on front of the quilt. Places to look are: 1. Small pieces in the trees 2. A bush by the barn. 3. Elvis's face for the barn roof.(grey part) 4. Elvis' hair and eye on the girl. 5. Elvis in the truck. On Back, I used Elvis as a Label for the qult and some Elvis fabric for the hanging sleeve.

She really found an obscure (but great for a quilt) song!
These are the words - I hope you can read them, she printed them out on the quilt.

They mention her big bull dog, and her old blue jeans.

Here is Elvis in his old blue truck.

She did a great job piecing the barn, too.
