I chose the traditional block named Mississippi as the pattern for this quilt, in recognition of Elvis' birthplace. I used the glitzy metallic thread thread and the star motif for the glamorous celebrity lifestyle Elvis enjoyed. The two song titles worked well together to initiate the color scheme. |
