My son's most recent dance recital featured the song "Hound Dog" and he loves dogs, so I figured I would try to make a dog quilt. I added the tears because of the line "crying all the time". My son (5y) asked me "Mom, why is the dog crying?" and before I could answer, his twin sister said, "Because his bone is green. Dog bones aren't green." I drew out the pattern on graph paper to get the shape of the dog and bone and then filled it with the other Elvis fabric. This challenge was a lot of fun. |
