Artist's Statement:
How is it possible to choose just one Elvis song? I know I couldn't do it. Can you find the following titles in "Elvis Lives"?

-Hound Dog

-Burning Love
-Blueberry Hill
-Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On
-Wear My Ring Around Your Neck
This quilt is made from hand dyed and hand painted cotton as well as commercial cottons, polyesters and ultrasuede. The batting is Warm and Natural cotton. Techniques include needle turned applique, painting and printing on fabric, free motion machine embroidery and free motion quilting. A special thanks to KT Irwin for allowing her certified search bloodhound, Indy, to pose for this piece.

This is really a Elvis's Greatest Hits quilt. There is a jailhouse and blueberry hill that she didn't even mention.

The wonderful hounddog. The envelope in the mailbox is addressed to Priscilla Beaulieu in Wiesbaden Germany and is stamped 'Return to Sender'.

A much loved teddy bear, with his stuffing coming out, his arm coming off, and a ring around his neck.

A blue suede shoe and a whole lot of shaking going on.
