To me, Elvis was always Smokin' Hot!!!! From the way he loved foods, I deceided he should be a quilt apron of "BURNING LOVE'. I used cotton denim in place of batting to reduce bulk. I did fabric painting, computer fabric printing, raw edge applique, shibori-type pleated fabric burning, and gave him flashing blue eyes! I had so much fun designing this quilt. I laughed more at it than any other project! I call this my left-handed quilt because my right thumb was messed up and stiff so I learned to work with my left hand. |
