Artists StatementHow about a nod to the traditional broken dishes block, interpreted in rich, contemporary challenge fabrics? I usually work with reproduction and historically inspired fabric and design. I couldn't entirely resist these influences, incorporating make do fabrics and widely varying contrast in the blocks. Can't you see this quilt in the breakfast nook, on the kitchen wall, or spread out on a luncheon table? |
